Infantry Assault Badge in Silver

This was introduced in December 1939, was produced in large numbers by various contractors throughout the war. Solid casting, 60% of the original frosting exists, mostly on the back. Overall condition is very good. €150. NEW

Wound Badge in Silver

This was instituted in September in 1939, was awarded to soldiers after a 3rd wound or one single serious wound which caused a missing limb, partial blindness or deafness. This is a solid casting with a wide angle stick pin. Marked L/40. Overall condition is very good, about 50% of the silver frosting is left, mostly on the back. €70. NEW

Wound Badge in Black

This was instituted in September in 1939, was awarded to soldiers for their 1st wound. This is a hollow stamped sheet metal painted black. Condition is mint, unissued. €50. NEW

Iron Cross 1st Class

Awarded for heroism in battle after the Iron Cross 2nd class had been awarded. This has a wide angled stick pin which is stamped number 15 which means the maker is Friedrich Orth, Wein. Overall condition is very good. €175. NEW

Narvik Shield

This was instituted in August 1940 for all services involved in the battle for Narvik in the Norwegian campaign early in the war. 8577 of these were awarded to the army, navy and airforce. Made from a later model zinc with a brass backing, the wool and paper backing has long since rotted off. This is a dull zinc grey colour which is for the army or air force. Overall condition is very good except for the backing. €200. NEW

Iron Cross 2nd Class

This is the lowest award of the Iron Cross instituted in 1939. Soldiers awarded this usually wore only the Iron Cross 2nd class ribbon through their buttonhole. The Iron Cross itself is a 2 piece construction, the inner part of the cross is surrounded by the silver frame instead of one solid construction. Overall condition is very good, some of the black paint on the inner part of the cross is worn. €150. NEW

Luftwaffe Retired Pilot's Badge

This is a badge instituted in March 1936 for retired pilots, and was also awarded to families of pilots killed in action. Has the eagle perched on a rock surrounded by Oakleaves. Is silver frosted and has a vertical stick pin. Is stamped C.E. Junker Berlin SW on the back. I think this is the 2nd or 3rd pattern, some of these badges are not stamped with the maker on the back. Overall condition is very good, 70% of silver frosting is still there. €450. NEW

M44 Model Infantry Shoulderboards

These are 1944 model shoulderboards which are made from 44 brownish grey wool with white rayon waffenfarbe for infantry. These have a distinctive double stitch down the middle of the shoulderboard which is standard for M44 model. Keyholed eyelets for buttons and dark grey artificial silk on the inner lining. Overall condition is very good, waffenfarbe has some coloration from age, no mothing. €80. NEW

Condor Legion Silver Panzer Badge

This is a silver panzer badge awarded to panzer troops serving in Spain in the Condor region. This is a stamped metal badge with a vertical hinge pin fitting. The face is frosted in silver and it has the early totenkopf in the centre surrounded by Oakleaves and has the early prewar Panzer tank at the bottom. Overall condition is very good, about 80% of the silver frosting still remains. No factory markings on the stickpin or back of the badge. €450. NEW

Anti Partisan Badge in Silver

This was called the Bandenkampfabseichen which was awarded to all mililtary personnel who performed anti partisan duty. The silver was for at least 75 anti partisan operations. Insignia is the Germanic sword with a mobile swastika on the handle plunged through a multi-headed serpeant which symbolized the partisans, and a totenkopf at the bottom surrounded by oakleaves. This is the latest production which is hollow backed and has a vertical wide hinged stickpin. The stickpin has no maker's mark which is not uncommon for the later productions. Overall condition is good, most of the silver frosting is gone but the images are still clear. €400. NEW

Allegemine SS Man's Collartabs Sturmgruppe 101 - Reichenberg

These are unissued Allegemine SS collartabs for a Sturman. Has silver embroidered 101 which is Sturmgruppe that was stationed in Reichenberg which is now Liberec. These have silver piping around the edges. The back of the collartabs are reinforced with heavy burlap. Unissued condition. €450. NEW

Waffen SS Croatian Sleeve Shield

This is a RZM pattern with black border Croatian volunteer's sleeve shield which was issued to the Croatian Muslim 13. Waffen Gebirgsjäger Division Der Handschar and the 23rd Waffen Gebirgsjäger Division Der SS Kama which were both Croat Muslim volunteer divisions that fought mostly in Yugoslavia and some ended up in Czechoslovakia and southern Germany. Mint condition, unissued. €235.

Hitler Jugend Sports Shirt Diamond

This is an RZM machine embroidered diamond with swastika which was intended to be applied to a white tank top sports shirt. Unused condition. €70

SA Life Rune Patch

This was for medical personnel in the SA. It was worn on the lower left cuff below the armband. Overall condition is excellent. €70

SS/SA TYR Rune

This was issued to SA and SS members that graduated from the national leadership school. Machine embroidered. It was a high honour to graduate from this school and have this insignia. Worn on the uniform on the left upper arm, above the armband. Excellent condition. €80

DAK Infantry EM Shoulderboards

This is a pair of Afrika Korps army infantry shoulderboards made from the standard DAK olive green cloth with white rayon waffenfarbe, indicating infantry. Excellent condition. €150

NSDAP Aluminium Cap Eagle

This is the 2nd version party eagle which was used on most NSDAP headgear, from Hitler Youth Leader to SA KPs. Made from stamped aluminium with 2 pronged fastener, which is still intact. RZM stamped with M1/111. Excellent condition. €70.

WWII Cossack Golden 1st Class Badge

This is a uniform badge awarded for heroism in combat against communist forces in Russia by German backed Russian Cossacks. There were certain cavalry units that fought for the Germans during the 2nd World War. Medal has wide pin backing which is hallmarked. The stamp is unidentifiable. The gold plating is a bit tarnished but overall condition is very good. €285.

1939 War Merit Medal

The medal was designed by Richard Klein of Munich, and was introduced on 19 August 1940. (Medal dated 1939). It comprised a round medal with a War Merit Cross without swords on the obverse, and on the reverse is writen 'FUR KRIEGS VERDIENST 1939' Which means: FUR OF WAR EARNINGS/SERVICES. The medal was made of bronze and was usually very well produced. It was introduced for the reward of civilians and military who were aiding the war effort. It was also conferrable upon non-Germans engaged in Germany's war effort. €45.

German Wound Badge in Gold

This is a late war gold wound badge which is a hollow struck thin sheet metal with gold coloured plating. The golden badge was awarded to soldiers after the 5th wound or a single serious wound such as blindness. Overall condition is good except the pin hook on the back has been repaired which can be seen in the photo. Surface shows some wear but not extensive. SOLD

Czech Fascist Stick Pin

This is the insignia of the NS which stood for Narodnim Sourucenstvi, a pro German organization formed in 1939 in the proctectorate of Bohmen and Marhen. Organization was styled after the SA and later was just called the flag. The front of the badge is enameled white, red, blue and black with the words Vlasti Zdar and NS. The back of the badge has the maker's mark and Praha. Rare example because most of these were destroyed right after the war. €45.

German Air Sports Patch

This is a bevo sports shirt patch which was used by the Deutsche Luftsports Verein. Mint condition, never was applied to a sports shirt. €80.

Waffen SS Gebirgsjäger Shoulderboards

These are standard SS shoulderboards but with Gebirgsjäger waffenfarbe. These shoulderboards are in excellent condition. €250.

SA Collartabs Gruppen Saxon

These are standard SA man's unissued collartabs made of dark green wool which indicates Gruppen Saxon. Has a hard paper backing and unit number is chainstitched to the wool. Overall condition is excellent, unissued. €75.

Wehrmacht Panzer Collartabs

These are early style collartabs with pink Panzer waffenfarbe. These have been mounted on bottle green backings, reinforced with hard cardboard paper. Unissued, never were applied to a uniform. €60.

Rare WWI Panzer Badge

This is a rare stamped metal badge given to Panzer crews during WWI. Has the Brunswick type skull with the WWI tank in the foreground with explosions going off around it. Has a wide stickpin, no markings or dates. Very good condition. €300.

Panzer Badge in Bronze

This is a standard 3rd class Panzer badge in bronze that has been well worn, 50% of the bronze anodized surface is present. Semi-hollow back with straight pin fastener. Overall condition is good except for surface wear. SOLD

Polizei Sako Insignia

This is the eagle and wreath insignia of the Polizei that was attached to the Sako police hat. This particular one is in very good shape, ideal for replacement for missing or damaged eagle and wreath. Comes with the screw nuts ready to install. Overall condition is excellent, hardly any wear to the aluminium. €220.

Oberlieutenant Shoulderboards

These are infantry officer's shoulderboards in the rank of Oberlieutenant. These came off a very damaged uniform. Have the unit number cyphers. Very good condition. €95

This is a very rare silver boullion sleeve eagle for the SS volunteers from Italy, hand sewn boullion on a black wool background. Standard Italian SS design, eagle clutching the Italian fascist symbol. This piece is extremely rare, shows wear but very good condition. SOLD

SS Officer's Langemarck Collar Tabs

These are Officer issued collar tabs, designated for the famous Langemarck division which was a volunteer group from Flanders which distinguished itself on many occasions in combat in Russia. Unissued set, some storage wear but in very good condition. €300

This is a various assortment of badges depicting what arm of service the soldier served under. They were usually worn on the side of the Austrian field cap. Various services are machine gunner, pioneer and mine layer. €25 each

These are slipon type shoulderboards. Polizei orange underlay and piping. Mint condition. €60

These are mint condition breast eagles that were used on blue tropical uniforms, coveralls, flight suits and other various blue cotton garments. These are harder to find than normal wool eagles. €62 each

Waffen SS Tropical Sleeve Chevrons

These are typical SS Sleeve chevrons for Sturmmann and Rottenführer with gold tresse. Sewn on tropical tunics and shirts and sometimes camouflage clothing. Excellent condition. €34 each

These were issued to band members and were fitted on each shoulder. Used, but in very good condition, still with hooks for fastening to the uniform. SS RZM tag is still present on one. €382

These were issued to band members and were fitted on each shoulder. This is an unissued pair, still connected, is complete with hooks for fastening to the uniform. €179

Wallonie Sleeve Shield

This is another volunteer shield variation for the 28th SS Grenadier Division Wallonie. The usual sleeve shield was a bevo tricolour but these were also used towards the end of the war. Unissued condition, some have staining but most are not stained. €115

Field Rank

This was used on camouflage uniforms, usually by senior NCOs to officer's. These are the printed version and are on a silklike material which was the most commonly used during the war. These were found in quantity unissued and I only have the ranks of Untersturmführer, Hapsturmführer and Standartenführer. Unissued, mint condition. €47 per set

Cossack Cap Insignia

These are a late war version of the Cossack cap badge issued to Russian Cossack volunteers to the German military. This comes in 2 versions, cotton and wool. These were found unissued in a Czech military museum. €30
